College Essay Coaching
How do you tell a story that captures your personality, experience, and passion in only 650 words?
The stakes for college essays have never been higher. Nowadays, many schools don’t interview applicants, so admissions officers only meet them on the page. And most students have experience writing critical essays, not personal ones, so they find the task daunting.
That’s where I come in. I’m an award-winning writer and editor who can demystify the process and make writing personal essays fun!
I encourage students to find their authentic voice and help them bring their essays alive with vivid scenes rather than generic summaries. And as a former brand strategist, I help students position themselves. I make sure their personal statement and supplemental essays strategically work together to tell a coherent, compelling story about who they are and how they will contribute to campus life.
I start working with students in the late spring of junior year and support them until they hit submit.
“Elliott encouraged me at every step of the way. She helped me with my common app essay and the supplemental essays for ten schools and I got into my first choice!”
